Since when is LE the spokesperson for the show?

I think FOX told DS to get back and untangle the mess the show is in right now. Going to NBC with a new showrunner could be a good thing if that showrunner took the show back to its original premise. It could be bad if it were turned completely over to someone who wants to focus on the Huddy rather than the medical mystery.

And again, since when is LE the spokesperson for this show?????

I know - its insane, isn't it? I think this is a sign that RSL just isn't interested & HL is preparing to disengage.

That $5 mill per ep just shocks me - that number is after they ditched the road journey arc that KJ wanted to do. They seem to think NBC is made of money & its clearly not the case. The new management at NBC had no issues ditching Law & Order: LA recently when they couldn't get the cast retooled the way they wanted & I'm betting they are being equally ruthless with both Fox & Shore et al.

It annoyes me too.

The only thing we can do is to go to these web-pages and complain about that.Seeing that the Huddies are so loud I`m not sure if these bloggers/FOX/GY are really in a know that they are fans, too. But i`ve a notion that Cameron/Wilson/Nonshippers are just too nice to rant. But trust me I`m hearing from many, many, many people the same complaints about the extensive LE (self)promotion.

The best we can do, definitely. Although I'm pretty sure GY knows, and thus Fox knows too.

Moving networks has almost never worked out. Either way, I don't see House surviving past season eight, IF it makes it that far.

Excuse me while I cry a river over this. ;)

Also wondering why LE seems to have become the spokeswoman for the show lately.

ITA agree that moving networks rarely works out, but House is in a bit different situation since NBC actually owns the show & it sounds like they are playing hardball over the cost issue with Fox. The right kind of publicity push behind a relaunch & Hugh actually engaged could do wonders to bring back the original audience (e.g. ditch Shore, Huddy, Greg Y & bring back Cameron & focus on RSL properly).

The way LE is behaving it seems like the show's actually called Cuddy MD.

Oooh, drama.

So things aren't going so well behind the scenes as they would like us to believe.

It costs $5 million an episode?! Really??? House is a very contained show; how in the world does it cost that much?? Even Glee's post-Superbowl episode, the most expensive of the series, only cost like $2-3 million according to things I've read (and they have to pay for music rights and things like that). D: Just what in the world are the House producers spending their money on????

...part of me is hoping that they'll axe Shore and get a new showrunner...just don't let it be Katie Jacobs. Another larger part of me kind of hopes that they'll end up getting cancelled. It's been on the air long enough anyway and it has to end eventually.

And part of me is sad that I'm even thinking that. I used to love this show so much

I don't think there's any danger of Katie Jacobs becoming show runner. The press release that announced the axing of Rockford & Shore's return to House full-time basically put all the blame on Katie Jacobs inability to do her job. The new NBC management strikes me as ruthless enough they'll kill the show if they don't get the dollars to roll their way ( ... )

It strikes me as the height of arrogance that she should be speaking about anyone else's contract other than her own.

THIS.

I wonder if she even had permission to say what she did. If not, I expect to hear a lot of silence from her corner of the room as I'm sure management slapped her down pretty hard for it.

If she did have permission...yeah, wtf did she turn into any kind of a power behind the scenes? Aside from being KJ's bestest friend that is.

On one hand, I don't want the show canceled because I notice that the H_C comm gets lively every time a new ep is aired. But oh boy, I really, really want the show's ratings to drop 6 inches lower than a snake's navel and be canceled. Sigh.

My suspicion is that she doesn't have permission from the actors at least - what we're getting is the Shacobs version of what's going on. I really think the lack of support LE is getting from the rest of the cast is a reflection of not wanting to be tied to her potential screwup in the future. What happens if it turns out that RSL really has quit? How would Le even know?

Ratings weren't great last night - I'm about to put them up at h_c, give me a few minutes.

I can't believe this is same show I used to schedule my life around several years ago.

Over at TwoP in the House in the Media thread there is a short video of some of the cast and DS and KJ trying to say thanks for their People's Choice Awards (since LE and GY were the only ones who apparently showed up). Their attempt at humor falls really flat, it's quite painful to watch and LE dominates the whole video.

I know - I used to be the same way. Now its no huge loss, though I do admit finding all this maneuvering about next year fascinating.

Thanks for the heads up about the PCA ideo - I missed that & I'm sure that the TWoP folks will have something snarky to say ;D

You didn't miss anything, LE was just bitching around and nothing more. Although Robert and Hugh were pretty cute (the few seconds LE was not in the centre of the clip). And GY obviously is not very happy that they won the award (or for their ungrateful fangirls, you never know): http://twitter.com/#!/GregYaitanes/status/29980332669272064

I'd like to add a plaintive wail and a :head desk: to that "no words" please. :(

Ausiello says there is a House md wedding.
It's House&Cuddy wedding for sure.

It's official: House md is dead.

Ok, I think the REAL House creator was Bryan Singer (seasons 1-3)
Now is just a Shore parody.

sorry my poor english

With House getting married?! And to HER?! Ugh. Deader than dead. Definitely. And this moron fangirl even has the guts to speak for the fandom, look: "HOUSE fans are worried about all these Huddy breakup rumors swirling around the show. Got any good news to cheer us up?" WTF!!! I just read a comment about this, why can't they just speak for themselves?!
