We'll call this the "almost" ride.

We almost did the upper loop. Denali almost had enough energy. The snow was almost melted enough

Jealous! I so wish we could trail ride together. It seems EVERYone around here just wants to gallop mad-cap about all the time or just walk all the time, when I like going fast AND enjoying the scenery. Bah.

You know Longridersgear.com occasionally has good sales on the Zilco breastplates. And they DO come in burgundy ;)

Yup, I have it bookmarked for future consideration ;) although I might go with navy ... although that IS rather dull. must decide, right? :D

and yes, I definitely enjoy going as well as walking. I seem to either have walkers OR friend who while willing to go, have horses that Denali wants to play with so we spend more time telling them to STOP BUCKING than anything else useful. Also, they don't like 5+ miles and go for the shorter routes.

let's delete Idaho and most of Oregon and then I'll only be a few hours away, right? :D
