*Noa hugs her Eagle and Pocketwatch tighter, looking at him with a wide-eyed, frightened, shy gaze.*

M-Mommy...a-asked me to s-stay h-here tonight. U-Um................

[alfonsrepeats]

*Alfons steps in the hallway, apron around his waist, oven mitts on his hands. He also smells oddly like...cookies.*

Noa! Sweetheart, you're here early. Are Mommy and Daddy on their date already?

*Then he gives Edward a smile, and then moves to whisper in his ear:*

I promised Alfons I'd watch her tonight. I'm sorry--I figured you wouldn't mind, but I should have talked to you first...

-Edward blinked up at Alfons when he hears him, head tilting a bit, looking...sort of lost.

He glances at the kid again before looking back up when he heard Alfons whispering to him-

Oooh...nah, it's fine, I don't mind~ ...you smell really good though. Makin' some treats?~ -grins-

-He smiles down at Noa, holding a hand out to her and opening the door a bit wider-
