[Even in the cold of winter there is fun to be had for a flower youkai. Whilst clearing her entire garden of snow as it falls is a poor idea, swapping the autumn flowers out for more seasonal blooms is always necessary. Alstromeria, narcissus, orchids and white roses feature this month, with there being sunflowers present too, as always...

[K.O. - Only not, but close. When Shiemi is hit she yelps and falls forward into more snow. It may be a bit of an over reaction, but she's not quite properly dressed and everything is so cold!]

[Readying a second snowball. Why yes, she will throw another one at her whilst she's down.]

[-Wait. She's under attack!? No, this is bad! The first one didn't hurt very much but who knows what the next on could be like if she's under attack. Quickly the blond scrambles to get up to find something - anything - to hide behind.]

Wh-why are you attacking me?!

Hmm~ For starters, you caught my eye. Secondly, I was bored. Finally, this is the sort of thing you are meant to do in the snow, correct?

[As she scrambles up, Yuuka throws her second snowball. Aiming for the back of Shiemi's head now!]

I always thought frostbite was more interesting, myself. Literally break pieces off of a man, they get cold enough.

Oh well yes! Frostbite is also quite an exciting ailment. Most winter sicknesses and other such things are quite intriguing.

Should you ever get cold enough, please report to me if you contract anything. It'll be interesting to find out how things will develop~

[Adell happens by Yuuka's garden on patrol just as she's finishing planting. He lingers for a moment to look into the field of winter plants, but especially the white roses... and the sunflowers.]

...Huh. Didn't know these grew at this time of year.

They don't, but sunflowers deserve to bloom all year round. They're such wonderful flowers.

[Standing off to one side, finishing up removing her autumn flowers and replacing them with her winter blooms.]

I'll give you credit, it brings a lot of much needed life around here. Winter just feels kinda... dead when it comes to sights around the village.

But winter is one of the finest times of the year. After all, when else can you gaze upon naturally blooming alstromeria?
