I seem to be picking about 5lb of plums each day. They have a wonderful flavour and seem to be mostly unblemished, so I'm actually having to remind myself not to eat too many, to avert gastrointestinal consequences...

Our plum is still too little for fruit, but we're hopeful that we'll get some in the next couple of years.

I would jam, but I haven't got any pectin and I think plum needs extra to set. However, I may well stew and freeze for crumbles :)
