Fine. Potions aren't as bad as I thought.

Mostly healing. Some are a cure for a flue, some help if you have low blood sugar or some even heal acne. They're like small bottles of cure.

And most experienced White mages create even more effective potions.

If you're just starting, then yes. First you need the basics down. And I'm not sure if Yuushi will teach you potions, so that might have to wait until you get a white mage to teach you.
