Then talent show was amazing. Hogwarts has some talented students and everyone had fun. Until Sofie and Sylvie win. Some of their spirits dampened after that

Sofie pretended not to be surprised she won but she was. She knew the dance she and Sylvie did to Unstoppable by Sia was pasiionate and emotive and you couldn't even tell they hated each other but still she was shocked. She didn't want to gloat so early in the evening so she positioned herself by one of the food tables and nibbled on a piece of cake waiting to be congratulated,

Fuck it. She doesn't care who's watching. She pulls him closer and kisses him.

Blue kisses her back. But only for a moment. he doesn't want to get in trouble today. “Keke and Aunt Stevie think we should record.”

Sofie grins,”Of course they do. Because you are brilliant!” She hugs him. “I'm so happy for you.”

Blue hugs her back, lifting her off her feet a little, “Thanks, but I'm trying not to get too excited. Keke always makes things sound easier than they actually are.”

"Sometimes, maybe. But this time it will all work out because you deserve it." Sofie told him.

"Yes, because that's how life works." blue laughed.

"It is for you!" He gets another kiss. Then she frowns. "Hey, my grandfather is on his way over here. Want to take a walk?"

"You think we should be seen walking out of here together?" Blue asked.

"No. Of course not. You go first and I will find you in a minute."

"Ok," Blue said. "I'm going to go to back to the auditorium. I think I left my guitar strap in there."

"Ok. Good to know." Sofie said. "I'm going to talk Papa. See you later."

Blue is able to get through the crowd fairly quickly. He thinks he makes it out more or less unnoticed. He heads to the auditorium. He waits for Sofie.

Sofie has a short conversation with Michael and then excuses herself to the bathroom. She practically runs to the auditorium so when she gets there she's out of breath. "Hey," she tried to sound cool.

"Ah, here you are." Elena briefly perused the food before turning back to Sofie with a smile. "Excellent work, Ms Flint."

Sofie grinned, "Thank you. We worked really hard."
