A survey a day keeps the readers away

So, apparently we're gearing up to celebrate beta reader appreciation day again (October 13), or maybe it's beta reader appreciation week now. I'm okay with that. Beta reader appreciation month, beta reader appreciation year... I'm pretty sure I appreciate them all the time.

it hits M/K fans right in their woobie-sensors

LOL! Yes. I know people say they miss Krycek's POV, and I kinda did, too, but it just didn't fit in. Ghosts is a more emotional story, Lovers is better structured.

I hope your RPG character is still alive.

I wish I had better access to Aero bars. They have to be imported from Canada, and thus they're expensive and sometimes stale.

A few days ago I discovered The English Shop in the mall right next to work. Aero bars, salt and vinegar crisps, marmalade, tea... it's a dangerous, dangerous place.

I have a thing for mint aeros, because. Green chocolate!

And thank you for the kind comments.

I feel validated, anyway. :-) It's nice to know someone else agrees.

It's definitely been a while. I can truthfully say that I got all my white hairs in fandom. (They're still new enough that I'm mildly fascinated with them.) It's cool, though, to look back and realize that it's been years and years of meeting and knowing all these really nice people. :-)

Shoshanna rocks. There should be a shrine, with offerings burnt in her honor.

And you like the VG story! Whee!

I'm really glad you were my beta for those stories, too. I don't even remember how it started, but I remember that it was fun. I don't do a lot of beta work, either, which sometimes leads to a vague sense of guilt (what have you done for your community lately?).

Was that the same house I visited? Cause I have good memories of that house, too. :-)
