Almost a month ago, I asked kassrachel to tag me for this icon meme, and she did, and I... totally forgot about it until I saw copracat post that very same meme today. Fortunately, icon memes age well. This is how it goes:

I admit to being very pleased that I am here and not there. :) And I think the whole point of an icon meme is to get to talk about your icons, regardless, so: I'd like to hear about limited genepool, cats don't drink milk, make 'em laugh and think!

Perhaps you could try reading the seeds a long story? I hear that can help if they are afraid of the dark. Not that I'm calling you a Toad or anything. :)

Absolutely, with apologies for the delay! Things are a bit... thing-ish, here in torchland. Also I had a hard time picking because you have very many excellent icons; I particularly love the ones labeled RvB, although I have no idea what that is. (I could probably google it, but. *g*)

RvB stands for Red vs. Blue, which is a hilarious web-based series created with and loosely based on the Halo video games. It's possibly less hilarious if you're not a video game geek, but it's one of my favorite examples of- not fanworks, per se, but works created by artists who happen to be fans--stuff that stands on its own creatively but is informed by a fannish sensibility.

Sorry, I'm blathering on. You can check out the RvB website or the wiki article if you like. :)

I hope things are less thing-ish? Or maintain the appropriate level of thingishness.
