OMG I'M SO GOING TO DO THIS!!!

only friday (the 25th not the 26th by the by) is my jrock concert! ;~~~~; can i watch it thursday and pretend it's friday????

BUT I WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN!

i loved that movie sooooo hard. and i've watched parts (my fav moments and musical numbers) but i haven't seen it whole in a long time!

i miss all my Fanna icons now!!! D:

Hahah I just realized I'll be working on Friday til 9PM and I dunno if I can watch such an emotional movie once I get home all tired... I remember the first time I watched Fanaa, I just connected to it so much I ended up being a sobbing mess at the end. Haha.

Whoops, I messed up the dates. It's Saturday! 26th! So I'll be free after all! :D

i was so sad by the end, i can't remember if i cried the first time cause phasera was with me and i HATE to cry in front of people. but i KNOW i sobbed when i watched it again on my own!

It can be such a cheesy film but when it sucks you in, it's a great emotional ride, even with that ending. Bollywood can make angst so great. :D

Oooh, if I can get a hold of a copy, I'll do it! I didn't love it, but I also saw it in the theater in Delhi (so no subtitles), so I'm sure there's a lot I missed.

I watched it first time without subtitles, too. Was too impatient and downloaded a pirate that had no subs.. I eventually of course got the official DVD etc. Basically, I loved it the first time around because I could see the strength in the performances. The dialogue broght out some of the 'eh' in the plot but also some of the wonderfully written drama-heavy romantic lines on the 2nd half.

It is a very typical Bollywood film with very typical Bollywood plot conventions, but I still really love it.. I hope you do too, if you end up watching.

Hehe, no Bollywood apologies needed for me, thanks. In fact, I think the reason why I haven't seen many Hindi films in the last year is that the higher quality/budget makers seem to be straying from typical Bollywood. Unfortunate. (Though I did love Rang De Basanti.)

I thought 2006 was excellent when it came to Hindi film industry.. 2007 has been slower, I've not really absolutely loved any movie that's come out thus far.

Fanaa icon!

Didn't rewatch Fanaa, but I did go to a Sonu Nigam/Asha Bhonsle concert, and Sonu sang "Mere Haath Mein"! :D
