No, I like your long sentence! I don't think I'd be half as defensive about this stuff if I weren't someone who has retained a lot of "childlike" or...uh, "teenagerlike?"...mannerisms and interests into her twenties, etc. I also think I have a valid point, no matter that it stems partly from a desire to continue doing things I like to do without feeling as though I should feel guilty about them.

1. I had to wake up pretty early; it wasn't as hot then.
2. I really like coffee.
3. I can always drink the coffee in the basement if the kitchen is hot enough to make it unpleasant.
