Hee, Will and Rachel are one of my current Top Loves as well! And how much do I adore you for doing all the hard work re: digging up Will/Rachel fic? So much. SO MUCH. I'm totally going to read those fics tomorrow. It'll give me something to look forward to. <3

I'm still in Season 1, haha. I keep forgetting to rent new DVDs from netflix and I don't know of any place that will let me watch numerous episodes online for free.

Obviously, because who am I, I'm just here to thank you for acknowledging the perfection of Rachel/Jesse, heh. I knew he was perfect for Rachel when he said "I picked the Stephen Sondheim biography section for a clandestine meeting place because only he would be able to express my melancholia." OH MAN. You magnificent bastard. I felt like he and Rachel really understood one another and she was able to be herself with him in a way that she's never been able to with Finn. Finn tolerates her crazy. Jesse embraces it and has his fair share himself. Damn you "Theatricality"/"Funk" episode switcheroo fuckery. I'd be happy if Finn and Rachel never got back together because the relationship does nothing for either character. I'd honestly like to see Finn and Quinn have a little something again, or at the very least have some resolution for their break-up because there was basically nothing after "Hello ( ... )

I don't think I even realized how much I loved Jesse until he was gone. Whyyyyy did his relationship with Rachel have to be a ruse? WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN LEGITIMATE? WHY WHY WHY DID HE CRUSH THAT EGG ON HER HEAD? Ugh. Jesse is the only dude that I felt could fit Rachel as well as Will can (or better, actually, since he was the same brand of crazy that Rachel is).

And, good lord, there are people who prefer season 2 Rachel? Are they insane? She was practically lifeless through most of it. I know that fandom hates her, but I disagree with fandom on pretty much everything, so this shouldn't surprise me.

If you want to read a "fill in the blank" fic that somehow reconciles all of the narrative nonsense that went on with regards to Rachel/Jesse in the back nine (including his random absences and the egg-smashing of awfulness), than I can't recommend your dirty mouth full of honest lies enough. Yeah, he just didn't work for me. And then in the second ep he's being all heroic without needing to be, and I think that gets on my nerves. I'm definitely more of an anti-hero kind of girl, so the traditional hero characters have to work a little harder to gain my love. I was even rolling my eyes at him in the second ep when he rushed off to save Hye Mi. I think I just get annoyed when the guy always has to save the girl (which is common in K-dramas, but I guess it's more annoying when the female is already plenty strong and can take care of herself). But, I'm sure he'll grow on me. At this point though I am much more interested in Song Sam Dong (who I guess will be his competition for Hye Mi's affection).

Hi! I randomly came across your blog and thought I would drop a note because I just LOVE Will/Rachel for pretty much everything you said. They are just fantastic together and literally the only couple I ship on thweshow. I'm not really big on getting into the fandom because I don't like the hostility and the way it can ruin a show, but with Will/Rachel, I look for absolutely everything online. I just can't get enough of them. I'm so glad to know there are others out there :)
