I never really saw the sexiness of Giles when I watched Buffy the first [and second and third] time around but I had a full series rewatch last year and omgthereitwas.

And that pic. OMG sizzling.

Also YAY for getting more U/M in the world. Now if only someone would take all my snippets of fic off me and write them into something wondrous. DO WE HAVE A SWAPPY EVENT FOR THIS?

I had never actually watched Buffy until after I fell in love with Uther, but I remember watching part of an ep when I was younger and thinking that Giles was kind of hot, but it was PURELY because he reminded me of my fourth grade teacher who I had been madly in love with, and there was some USTiness going on between Buffy and Giles so I thought they were the romance, but then they weren't, so I turned the channel. *sigh* Obviously I haven't changed too much in ten years. But anyway, Giles. He's ridiculously sexy. But not as sexy as Uther.

DO WE HAVE A SWAPPY EVENT FOR THIS?

Not that I know of, BUT WE TOTALLY SHOULD. I know there is a comm where you leave plot bunnies. I think. But it may just be Merlin/Arthur focused. Psh, we should just have one on kingandward. I have about three unfinished fics that I've abandoned out of pure laziness.

Yeah I always kind of had an interest in Buffy/Giles even when it was dirtywrong in my head. I guess I've always just been that little bit fucked up.

I think Uther is sexier because he knows he's sexy. Giles is very bumbling and adorable and likes to present himself as clueless when it comes to sex and relationships.

Band Candy Giles however is the hottest thing I've ever seen on TV. The man definitely knew he was sexy as Ripper.

WHUT? UTHER > GILES. SOMETIMES. Basically, I just want to have a threeway with Giles and Uther. Also, when did he say that quote? I see it in fanfics all the time and I keep racking my brain to remember which ep it references, and for the life of me I cannot remember.

Oh wait! Is that quote from Grave?

Penultimate of S6, when Willow is about to kill Buffy and goes "there's no one on earth powerful enough to stop me now!" But then she's ZAPPED and slams against the wall and Buffy whirls around AND GILES IS STANDING IN THE DOORWAY ALL BAD ASS WITH HIS HAND STILL RAISED and then he said it. Omfg I'm fangirling just thinking abut it. Best. Entrance. Ever.

Uther has yet to do anything to top that in my Crowning Moments of AWESOME book.

He looks so gorgeous there, sexy, sexy man - he smells sexy too (I know from experience *lol*)

I think he is hot as both Giles and Uther, it depends on how I am feeling as to which one I would have that day. Giles would be slow, tender and extremely thorough! Uther would be passionate, dangerous and so exciting.
So will it be a Giles day or an Uther day?

Hmm... I suppose I'm a little flip-floppy between them too, but I think generally I want to marry Giles and constantly jump Uther's bones.
