02. Gibbs/Abby is the best thing ever. It gets better with the touching and the kissing and the flirting. And the show is generally the most consistent show I've seen. it's really good.

I like Tony fine but prefer Gibbs. Part of the reason is that a lot of people think Tony's some sort of unrealized genius who had an abusive childhood and he just wants to be loved. I just think he's a guy whose father was kind of a jerk and occasionally drank too much, his mother was beautiful but fickle, and here's Tony, who's a goof ball that's good at his job and he does eventually grow up.

The touching and flirting gets even better? And there's KISSING?! OMG! I need to speed up with my NCIS watching.

I really don't see any genius about Tony whatsoever, but maybe that comes later. In fact, the reason why I love him so much is because he's such a goofball. I'd be kind of bummed if he's a genius.

Oh, sorry! I thought you were a little further along. Like season two maybe? I know two other people who just began watching NCIS also and maybe I'm getting you all mixed up a bit. Season two is also when she starts wearing her short skirt/knee socks outfits.

There isn't any, is my point. I think people assume there's some reason for his being a goof ball. I had a great childhood but am a smartass just breathing. I think people want him to seem vulnerable or like something he's not. Which is odd for NCIS because everyone's awesome as it.

I literally just started watching on Saturday, so you probably got me mixed up, but it's all good, because now I know that I have some Gibbs/Abby goodness to look forward to.

Man, I can't believe people want to make Tony vulnerable. His assishness is what drew me to him. And he gets just enough vulnerability through wanting to please Gibbs. &hearts

First House, then NCIS. I don't think we will ever share an OTP at the rate we're going.

But while I like Gibbs/DiNozzo, I have reservations on slashing them outright, as in, it just feels like the further I get into the series, the more I understand why there are so many freaky-ass BDSM fanfics trying to get them together in, god have mercy, somewhat emotionally canonical ways. I'm not sure I want to be a part of that.

I love NCIS, they have surprisingly good character continuity and Gibbs is love. I liked Kate a lot but I can see where your coming from there was a time I stopped watching NCIS and now regret it especially when *spoiler* comes in.

As for IPS, I'll be watching tonight when I come home from work. I'm sure there'll be much flail after;)
