Oh, perfect characterization and a wonderful use of the prompt. There are still plenty of things for the two to learn about each other, little secrets that they don't share with others. Beautifully written as always, great job.

Yeah, they do have a lot to learn, that first year especially. After all, three years apart after less than a year together--what have they forgotten, and what may they not quite understand about each other, for things they learned the first year, that are shaded by misunderstandings and the pressure of the quest? I admit, I'd like to do a specific long story someday on their first year, but I have have so much other stuff to get done first...

Thanks. I figure there are a lot of things we--and Kagome--don't know about Inuyasha. Since I go by the movie's timeline, of Inuyasha basically being about 150 when he meets Kikyo, he's certainly had time to learn all sorts of bits and skills...
