Well, I wouldn't so much say I'm tired of Klaine, but I AM really, really annoyed that Kurt and Finn's parents got married last fall and they've had one 10 second scene together since that consisted of them talking about their choice not to drink at Rachel's party.
I honestly thought Burt and Carol got married JUST SO Kurt and Finn would have scenes together at home (or at school, I guess) as brothers, b'c they click so well, and I can't believe that hasn't happened until (apparently) this coming Tuesday.
I'm annoyed too. There better be lots of deleted scenes coming up on the Season 2 DVD to make up for the lack of Hudmel interactions since the wedding. Burt realizes he has to talk to Kurt about sex, no mention if he talked to Carole about what to say or not, and neither adult thought to check with their other kid. Guess I shouldn't be surprised since neither adult even asked Finn if he was being bullied when they found out Kurt was.
Actually, this is getting off track of the issue, but I'd think Carol might have thought Finn should have had some sort of REAL sex talk following the information that Quinn was NOT carrying his child and that, in fact, he thought he had fathered the baby in a hot tub, while both of them were wearing bathing suits. I mean, really
( ... )
Maybe that's why we never see Carole, she's actually never around so she doesn't notice that her son definitely needs to talk about some things.
The bullying aspect, whether Finn partook in bullying in the past is irrelevant when it comes to the parents. By not asking him it's like they're telling him his bullying doesn't matter. And the only times we saw Finn involved in the bullying they clearly showed he wasn't getting the enjoyment that Puck/Karofsky/Azimo get from it. Speaking up unfortunately makes you a target and it's a lot harder to do then all the people who critisize Finn know.
I'm trying to give Fuinn a chance. They were written as a horrible relationship the first time so fans would root for Finchel. I'd like them more if Rachel would stop trying to shove herself in the middle of them. I could have done with more Hudmels over Dalton. Especially since Kurt didn't even live at Dalton apparently.
Even from a non-shippy perspective Finn hugging Kurt in front of the whole school is a pretty big thing in his character development. As much as I like Kurt (and Blaine) I hate how little of Finn we've seen in the second half of season two. If nothing else the Holly Holiday time could have been put to much better use. And not relevant to this comm, but it's weird how they've totally backed off from any relationship between Finn and Will. Reading to much fanfic from season one?
