It's been a long time

I recently had the idea to write a LiveJournal post as a sort of warm-up for working on my Summergen (which, as usual, I am writing at snail speed). But then there were too many decisions involved about what to say and how to write it and I got overwhelmed and ditched the idea. Somehow, right now is the time that I am pushing past these hangups.

I can relate to much of what you're saying - I used to write entries here that were about stuff other than SPN (not often but still) and part of the reason was I have such a terrible memory and having journal entries is such a great reminder of things I've done and people I've done them with. And I also loved the little snippets of life other people on here shared - it really helped that feeling ofd community that doesn't seem to happen on other social media.
So anyway, that's a roundabout way of saying - yay for blogging, whatever you're blogging about. Lovely to see you here.
