A Broken Leg Heard from in Tulsa

Hi Kids!! I'm not going to be long today cause I'm getting ready for physical therapy. But I must thank all of you for your wonderful thoughts & warm wishes when I broke my leg. hey girlfriend, I'm glad to hear from you. I'm still in the wheelchair & will be for another 3 weeks at least. It is really difficult to walk with the stupid walker when I have to step on my tip toes on my right foot (the broken leg) while using all of my arm strength to push down on the walker handles as I make a step with my left at the same time! Talk about tiring! It was much easier learning how to cha cha back in the day. Ha! Oh well, we all must do what we must do.

Oh wow that sounds like such a headache. Are you still in a cast? How did you break your leg? Sending lots of hugs and good vibes your way!

While I do have headaches, the pain is a little lower like in the ass, literally! Thank God I don't have a cast but an immobilizer with velcro straps, I could do a commercial for osteoporosis. I just took a step back to sit down & my leg went down & so did I. Can you say 911? more in detail later today. Gotta get ready for P.T. I can use a big pot of hugs, thanks!

I think you should totally pimp out your wheelchair.

My daughter might have some glittery stickers I could send you. Or you would prefer beaded fringe?

I'm sorry it has been so long but I have trouble sitting at my computer with this stupid leg sticking out. But I will update later today. Thanks for caring. I am really limited to having a social life so I cherish my LJ connection. I do talk lots to my A-number-One LJ conn., figmentj.
