When Molly arrived at Grimmauld Place, she was surprised that she was the first to arrive, aside from Minerva of course, judging by the silence that had greeted her. She hadn’t truly expected to on-time, with the amount of running around she had done at work to try and clock out early. By the time she had gotten to the Burrow, it was already a quarter to six, and she knew it would take her at least twenty minutes to shower and change. She didn’t want to arrive smelling like the brewing department, and as Arthur was supposed to already be there himself, she wasn’t in the mood for his light teasing.
She made her way towards the kitchen, figuring that Minerva would be preparing refreshments for everyone, considering the hour, and that a meeting for the Order hardly ever went by without some sort of sustenance. Upon entering, she offered the older woman a smile before speaking.
“Hello, Professor. I take it I’m the first one to arrive?”
Luna was prompt, she arrived five minutes before the alloted time. Grimmauld Place was so strange. She looked at the Black family tree on the way to the meeting place. She traced the veins along the bottom of the tree with a finger before she entered the room, nodding in greeting to McGonagall and Mrs. Weasley.
She sat down at the table and opened her purse, digging through for something, but never seeming to find it. She didn't say anything, she'd just showed up.
Harry had spent the afternoon before the Order meeting studying his NEWT subjects; most of them, with the except of Defense Against the Dark Arts, were harder than he could have imagined and brought back vivid memories of his sixth year, where nearly every free period had been needed for study. But a quarter to six rolled around soon enough and he closed his books before Apparating out of his flat and to the front step of Sirius' old house.
Though it was his now, Harry had no love of the place. He entered quietly so as not to disturb the portrait of Sirius' mother, and made his way to the kitchen where he heard voices. "Hullo, Professor," he greeted when he arrived, taking a seat next to Luna. "Hey, Luna. Hi, Mrs. Weasley, Charlotte."
Charlotte had been meaning to RSVP as requested, but with two businesses to look after, a baby on the way and employees and dogs to manage, it had slipped away undone. Charlotte felt a little strange about not going with Fleur, but going with Seamus was good too. They had decided to attend, just to see if there was anything that they could do to assist in some way or another. Charlotte had a lot of contacts outside of Wizarding Britain.
Char and Seamus had had dinner before they went to the meeting. Eating was important for the baby. She ate one average of six small meals/snacks a day. It was all about keeping mom and baby fed and Caleb and Seamus made sure that she did both.
Grimmauld Place was rather depressing and needed some lighting in her opinion, but she didn't state it.
