“Morning, Walsh,” Casey said casually as Jason sat in the desk across from her.
He looked around his computer screen. “Casey,” he said, stressing her name as he stood up and walked around to lean against her desk. “You know you’re allowed to call me Jason, right?” he whispered.
“We’re at work,” she mumbled, not looking away from her computer screen.
“You had no problem saying my name last night.”
“We weren’t at work last night,” she reminded him.
“In fact, you screamed it,” he continued as if she hadn’t spoken. “Several times.”
“Yeah, you’re proud of yourself, aren’t you?”
He shrugged and smiled. “I like satisfying people.”
She glanced up at him and sighed. “Well, you tried.”
He raised his eyebrows. “Right,” he mumbled. “Come over tonight.”
“Was that a demand?”
“That was me wanting to hear you say my name. Over and over and over again.”
She rolled her eyes. “Jason,” she groaned through gritted teeth.
“Close. You just need to put a little more passion behind it.”
