Yeah. I thought they were trolling, so I checked their LJ. And their "rant" was there. And kept it up just in case I needed to take a screen cap for later. Sadly, I refreshed it, so no longer there. But there were 3 entries of "guides". Sadly, kind of wishing that they had posted their 3rd rant. It dealt with "if they don't curse in canon, then don't make them curse in fanfic."

I used Scrapbook and saved both rants early because I knew where it Was headed. Truth be told, they had some good points but it was unfortunate they were so self righteous going about it.

Pretty much this. If they had simply said "This bugs me" rather than "This is completely wrong and I am completely right and you must listen to me because I have taken creative writing lessons!" I think it would have gone over far more smoothly. I mean, people still would have disagreed (and maybe she would have still reacted in the same manner), but it wouldn't have sounded so condescending.
