We've been having quite a discussion on the HoYay forums on TwoP about House and Wilson. I read this article in the May 2006 issue of O magazine (whatever, y'all!) and it *really* struck a cord. Since it was nowhere online, I re-typed the whole bloody thing. But nothing's too much effort for my House peeps.

Hi, I just came over from the HoYay thread in TWoP (my name on the threads over there is sautomne). Thanks for typing up this article. It's amazing how well it seems to describe Wilson! Especially this:

the way he made her feel beautiful and funny and fantastic, was unbearable.

It immediately made me think of Wilson's "speech" in Spin.

You're most welcome, sautomne/xaipw! It really struck me as Wilson when I was reading it as well. That line just nailed the Wilson speech.

Since I live in NYC and have friends who work at NY-Presbyterian, I'm dying to chase down Gail Saltz and force her to watch both seasons of House and give her professional opinion on the HoYay! ;-)
