I don't know the characters even a fraction but even without that this has a lot of pretty depth to read and add to my brain. Also sexy sex. I particularly thought this clever:

Laura has just shifted toward Tory (called her "troublemaker" and caught her wrists above her head) when...

Because the sex is so vivid even though it's not defined and this part made me re-read the parenthetical bit to create an image in my head.

you're a sweet thing. I'm glad you could make some sense out of it (sex is sex in any fandom!). trust me, Laura/Maya/Tory is hot like burning, and I was wishing I had more than 250 words of it. but I have discipline!

I had to take a few minutes to read it again...and again...and again. Images upon images upon images. Characterizations and descriptions, one on top of the other. I like how you create impressions, lift them, and replace them with something else. Particularly enjoyed the Cylon loving.

I love how you reveal the characters, how bits of them in parenthesis are just as important or more so than the actual text. That what is important isn't quite as visible.

Thank you for sharing. :) This is a beautiful piece of work.

this is such beautiful feedback (in sentiment and in composition), thank you so much. it's a great pleasure to have my work reflected back with this thoughtfulness and poetry. and I'm glad the parentheticals are working! that's my little litwanky experiment for this series.
