Thank you so much for filling my prompt! This is lovely: Luna telling Cho that it's all right to let her emotions show fits them both so well, and Cho making the conscious decision to believe that and not to wipe away her tears at the end is wonderful. The description of the dementors as darkness itself also works really well. Thanks again! <3

You're welcome! And thank you! :D My favorite thing about Luna/Cho-- in a romantic or platonic sense-- is that I do think Luna would let Cho cry and be upset when she needed to and be able to stay steady in the face of Cho's mood swings, which is a kind of support I think Cho lacked. I'm glad you liked that she didn't wipe her tears away; I've always felt the image of someone standing strong even with tears running down their face was a powerful one and I thought it really suited Cho here. I was worried that "darkness itself" descriptor might come across as kinda goofy, so I'm glad that worked too.

Anyway, really glad that you enjoyed this. It was a joy to write :D
