Title: Tissue Author: shati Recipient: taskir Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Rating: PG, sadly smutless Word count: 1,643 Summary: Buffy/Faith, post-"Chosen." Notes: Thanks to varadia for the beta!
oh that was gorgeous. you had a whole new way of saying the Buffy and Faith dynamic. I love the way they're twins but trying to be as different as possible. you drew each of them beautifully. the banter was nice, you made me giggle. and the tension between them, the years and the battles. the sex came so naturally. it was hot and interesting and gorgeous to read.
I'm really glad you liked it, and this is especially nice to hear, since I'm a latecomer to the fandom: you had a whole new way of saying the Buffy and Faith dynamic. Thank you!
This is really beautiful. I love the sense of companionship and sisterhood they share, only with a great big dollop of sexy thrown in. All the dialogue was spot-on and the characters were brilliant!
So, what I'm saying is, it's pretty much fantastic!
This is really well done. I like the way it plays out - each feels true to self, and it's prickly and not easy and not stereotypical, and they really feel like Buffy, and like Faith. Great work.
Lovely. I love the Buffy/Faith relationship, in all of its guises, and this explores almost all of them. The way you tied in their dream sequences -- wonderful.
I love how this ends (Faith is looking at her intently. "It's your choice." "No," Buffy says, "it's yours. I've chosen"). They learn so much about each other over the course of this story; I'm in awe at how you've packed so much emotional growth into something so short.
And the floral pink halter and the red lipstick and twins who don't want to be and how they change each other in such intense ways just by being near each other is such a great image, metaphor, idea.
Thank you; I'm glad it worked for you! I love how they each get sort of confused about their own role when the other shows up. ("Are you the bad Slayer now?")
