My fic, And the Beat Goes On, which I wrote for the last round of seasonal_spuffy, has been nominated at Love's Last Glimpse for "Best Short Story" and
"Best Buffy Characterization."

::is enormously chuffed::

Woohoo! Congratulations, and MUCH with the well-deserved! ::hops around happily::

Incidentally, I linked your fic journal on the links page of my site--is that OK? I suppose I could've asked first... Heh. Oops.

That's very sweet of you. Thanks! I'm not holding my breath to win because there were a lot of really great authors also nominated but I'm truthfully just pleased to be nominated.

OMG! Squeee! That's wonderful, Ms Femme. I'm absolutely chuffed for you. Wheeee!
Whenever lillianmorgan's done making it presentable, I'll post it.
Heh. We never set a time limit on it. Do you want it back tonight? Or will tomorrow do?

Hee. Thanks.

There's no time limit. Don't want you to feel pressured. Tomorrow is totally fine. Whenever. I'm going to bed now after I make the bed.

I really do mention housework an inordinant amount, don't I? Heh.

For what it's worth, I've been saying "chuffed" regularly since I worked with a Welshwoman in the mid-nineties.

I find that I "speak" differently on LJ than in real life. For one thing, I "talk" to lots more Brits and Aussie and New Zealanders online than in real life so it doesn't seem weird.

Rugby didn't help either since Aussies, Kiwis, and a Brit comprised a large part of the side.
