got a private message from someone who wants me to join some kind of movement to get Sarah Blake back on the show. I think it said something about having seen signs on my journal that I'd be into that. I mean, there are certainly indications on my journal that I like uh, women, and Supernatural, but did anyone else get a message like that?

I got one of those, too. I do write about female characters and SPN, but I've never written about Sarah Blake (mine tend to be either crossovers or OFCs). So I was a little perplexed.

Yeah, I've never written about Sarah Blake either. My new theory is that they did something like looked up people who had SPN het fic comms friended or something like that.

Same here. Got a similar message, though i've never really written anything about Sarah Blake, or voiced like or dislike about her, really. Somehow I think the message was a copy-paste thing and our journals randomly chosen. Ah well.

I've gotten the Sarah Blake offer twice now, and both times I've neglected to join because a) I think it's useless, Kripke will do as Kripke wants and b) I didn't actually like Sarah Blake.
They got me from reading 2 Guys 2 Girls and an Impala. *shrug* It's just a petition, really, not some huge movement, as far as I know.

And we all grump sometimes - no worries. It happens.

Yeah, I actually do like Sarah Blake fine but it's completely pointless. It just seemed so odd to be, like, niche advertised to or something.

these pumpkin carob-chip cookies are the awesome. the recipe that link goes to (which is a journal post of mine) is vegan and gluten-free, but has options for making them un-vegan and/or un-gluten-free (although, if you stick to the veg/gf, they are pretty fucking healthy for cookies and so, so, SO fucking good.) there are also sugar option, so you can go refined or not, depending on your style.

The SPN Sarah thing was um, a thing I saw. It's interesting to see who's getting the messages, though. I've written a few Salvation-verse stories with her in them, incl. one from her POV, but I heard nada. Randomosity? IDK.

Also, can I have the sweet-potato biscuit recipe, if there is one?

It must have something to do with comm memberships and not individual stories (I haven't written ANY stories with Sarah Blake in them).

I got the sweet-potato biscuit recipe out of Mark Bittman's book How to Cook Everything (which is a great book, btw) - it's a variation of his yogurt (or sour cream) biscuits. Basically, you add a cup of pumpkin into a regular (2 cups flour) yogurt biscuit recipe and use less yogurt.
