First, a poll.
Poll Shaka Narr, dude.Here's the thing, a couple of times I've written it in dialogue for Dean in quick firsts drafts and always in reference to Sam, but then it seemed wrong somehow and I changed it. Am I having a brain fart? Does Dean say "bro" all the time? Did I live in California for too long? *feels stupid

He's never said it that I can remember, and I don't really think he would because...I don't know. I do think he would probably go there ironically, though. Thus, that is the one I voted.

I agree--I don't think it's part of his regular vocabulary, but he might go there depending on circumstances.

I was actually sitting here, trying to figure out if he would say "Bro". It's not necessarily a regional thing -- thanks to mass communications, the differences in speech among areas of the country aren't nearly as huge as they once were. Besides, the guy travels a lot.
