Okay, so here's the story: I had the ambition and the drive to build a giant snowman with Cassie the other day, but not the strength. I really liked this one. I liked that you had the reader as uncertain to what was going on as John was. Poor Rodney he got whump too.

I thought it would be more powerful... and seem more whumpy if no one was really sure what was happening until the end. I'm happy to see that it worked.
Maybe if people like this one so much... I should write in pain more often. Whaddaya think?

The Rodney in me had thought of that, but the John in me slapped the back of my Rodney's head and made sure I didn't suggest it. ;)

Loved this. The confusion of what was happening in the beginning and the clarity of the end is a reflection of what's going on with John. Very good.
