As I semi use the net and inwardly rage that the dialogue in the TV on in the background is so mumbeled I can't figure out what the fuck the dialogue  of the prorgame is supposed to be about.

Nobody should bully you. But that includes your optician. I have intermittent diplopia so I know what it feels like and it's really not funny. Every case is different of course but for what it's worth, High St opticians just told me that my eyes are quite good for my age. I knew that wasn't the whole story and after a lot of fucking about, I found the right ophthalmologist at the hospital. Phe referred me to an optometrist who prescribed the specs I now wear.

Please insist on seeing a proper eye doc and please don't let them fob you off. These are your eyes.

Therr are lots of things it could be: most cases of double vision can be treated; and all must be investigated, as there are some trivial causes and some serious ones.

I was bitching with a colleague last night who comes from a family of opticians and opthalmologists and she reckons glasses go wrong much more than is admitted - especially if they've outsourced work to cheap "untrained" employees who may on a Friday afternoon not calibrate glasses making machines quite like they ought...

Definitely go back if they don't feel right.

Diplopia sucks, I get it for a known orthoptic reason and it's very annoying.

Yes, I do sort of know what you all are saying. And I have, so far, still done nothing, because I'm just crap at that kind of asertivness, and freeze up inside

I know what you mean, I haven't returned my second hearing aid for a third repair, the first didn't do anything, the second overdid it so I need them to find a middle ground... Only a year or so since I ought to have asked my partner to cycle 1 mile to audiology with it + letter...

I am not thinking about medical TODO especially as optiquack is the top of the list - am hoping a colleague's recommendation of an optician/optometrist in Aston is worth looking into. Must ask her for details on Monday.
