"I just don't know that this is really necessary," FN-2187 protested again, even though the point about the weather was a fair one. If it got much warmer than this he would probably not do well in his armor. "I mean, I understand your point," he added, not wanting to offend Eric, even though honestly he did not fully understand Eric's point. "But I have my full kit."

"Which includes... a spare undersuit," Eric recalled. "That's gonna get real stinky real fast. Unless you're planning on doing a laundry every two days." Which would be inefficient and not environmentally friendly!

These were space-age fabrics, Eric, it wasn't like they were the Jedi with their homespun robes or whatever. And anyway, "It's called a group laundry facility?" Why in the name of Emperor Palpatine would he be washing just his own stuff? That was ridiculous.
