The Darling twins were turning eighteen today, and thus crossing the threshold into legal adulthood. "Doesn't mean I don't have one!" Jim pointed out. "Though, I don't have one. We're a little more sophisticated with weaponry in the future. Though, I guess axes and clubs never really go out of style. Still useful."

"Well, in this instance, you're right," Jim told her, toasting her correct guess with his glass. "For one, barbarians are way too hairy. There's no way I'm growing a beard and letting a little forest grow on my back either."

"I think I'd just prefer Karolina," she said. "Or just Kar."
