When you had money and were creative you could make parties happen anywhere. Blair had both money and creativity in spades, and thus her party was born

One could sate oneself with drinks such as ice wines, icy cold vodka, and perfectly made martinis or go for warmer mulled wines and hot chocolate.
Likewise the food ran the gamut from cold items like oysters to warm ones - including small braziers that you could use to heat up meat and vegetables on skewers, or to roast marshmallows for s'mores.
Blair never skimped, so there was plenty of moddable food and drink. The running theme of it was that it was extremely high-quality. Blair wouldn't settle for less.

Of course, if there was a party, Turtle was going to be there to check it out. She had to admit, picking up a little of this and that from the food selection, she was pretty impressed to see a new kid go all out on a get-together like this.

Romeo liked the little braziers. He was going to stand next to one, rum-spiked hot apple cider in hand, and roast little bits of meat until he started seeming piggish.
Parties weren't exactly Cal's thing; he couldn't exactly say he'd even ever been to one except the one the Object dragged him to back in middle school, but he figured he might as well check this one out, if only to provide a better case to be excluded from Ino's little antisocial boy harem. So he took a seat at a table, bored as he watched the proceedings and trying to count down the minutes to a time when he wouldn't feel like too much of a loser for leaving.
A bit dully, Cal casted his glance over to where Ned was leaning over, and curled his lip a little. "People don't usually say that if it's a good thing," he observed. "I look that bad?"
Assuming, of course, that Ned was feeling pretty bad being here, considering that, from what he knew of Ned, the guy wasn't exactly the world's most vibrant social butterfly.

Chuck slid into the seat next to Blair's. Naturally a drink was in his hand and it was unlikely he'd be seen without one for the rest of the night.
"I think you out-did yourself this time, B," Chuck said. He certainly didn't think that these people were worth such extravagance. Someone (him) might have to tip off Gossip Girl about this party. What was the point of having such an awesome layout if you couldn't rub it in the face of the people who mattered?

She'd already eaten back at the dorms, but did find herself one of those adorable martinis to drink while she mingled.

Blair naturally would not mind if Gossip Girl got wind of this. Knowing that people back home were eating their hearts out would be half of the fun.
