Liir'd been up since sunrise, as per usual, only today (as he had no class) he'd taken over the third floor common room's kitchen for a few things. Cassandra still thought that four hours of sleep a night constituted 'sleeping in', so she'd been up for quite a few hours when she wandered into the common room. Morning katas and a long free-run meant she was hungry too.

She sniffed appreciatively as she walked in.

She shrugged as she let herself drift across the room toward Liir. She'd said she would come, after all.

He looked around at what was done and what was still cooking.

"Well, I've got two kinds of cookie you can try," he said as he pointed to the bowl of chocolate hazelnut cookies and the second which held the stained-glass looking ones.

"The caramels are almost done cooling and if you'll give me a minute to check the icebox..."

He turned and peered into the refrigerator.

"Not for a couple of hours yet," he said.

Jack smelled food. Fooooood! Delicious food, it smelled like. He decided to investigate.

He got a bright smile for his trouble and a bit of scrambled looking around the kitchen.

"Er, would you like anything? Sweet or something to fill the stomach?"

"Sure!" he said, heartily. "Wouldn't mind a little bit of everything, but wouldn't want to be rude." Jack had a spring in his step lately, seemed like.

Liir was the same way, so it was really a miracle that none of the food was flying.

"Chocolate hazelnut," he offered the first bowl, "sugar with candy at the center" as he offered the next "summer ice" a bowl with what was very like turkish delight, "and I'll serve up some beef stew if you'd like."
