Sphinx Cabin, Friday Afternoon

May 11, 2007 17:13

Henry drug his trunk into the B side of the cabin, and all but collapsed onto it. It was way too heavy, and the contents too fragile, for such a long haul. After taking a minute to rest, he set up his bed (he took A4, and hoped that it wasn't wrong of him to choose without asking), and put away his clothing ( Read more... )

Over on the B side, Cassie burst in with her bags, sniffling to herself. She threw her stuff into B2, and collapsed onto the beg, muffling her sobs into her pillow.

Chris knocked on the wall outside of Cassie's alcove. "Hello?"

After his much more interesting than anticipated morning, and after orbing all of Summer's things to her cabin, Chris finally made his way to his cabin.

He threw his duffle bag in B3 and went to meet his cabinmates.

Billy still tended to travel light. Especially since he wasn't going far. His duffel bag was plenty. Of course now his ribs were berating him for carrying it when they apparently weren't all the way healed yet.

"Ow." he grunted as he dropped his bag on the bed in B1.

Ami came in with a duffel bag and a backpack full of books. "Are the bunks assigned?"

Henry looked up from his book, already grinning. He was pleased to see Ami.
"Hello! No, the alcoves aren't assigned."

"Oh excellent. Have you claimed one?" Ami looked around, looking for one next to an empty one for Setsuna."

Griffin strode into the cabin, not being able to see the sign because of the massive trunk he was shouldering Atlas-like on his back. He let it slide to the floor with a loud THUNK, breathing heavily and looking around. "Is this Cthulu cabin?" he asked to no one in particular.

Henry heard someone outside, and went around front, clutching his book. He spotted the pale young man, and shook his head at him. "No, I'm sorry, this is Sphinx. I think Cthulhu is down a bit more, that way." Henry pointed down the row of cabins.

"Oh, you're kidding me," Griffin sighed frustratedly, with a disparaging look at his trunk. "And I just set this beast down." He sat on it with a huff, wiping sweat from his brow. "You'd think they'd have carts or something, eh? Oh, forgive my manners. I'm Griffin," he said, reaching out his hand to shake. (The opposite from the sweaty one, don't worry.)

Henry walked over to Griffin, and took his hand in a firm handshake. "Henry Jekyll. It's a pleasure to meet you. Are you new? I haven't seen you around."
