  1. I don't know, I feel like I mention this a lot, but never in much detail - Shaun of the Dead is one of my five favourite movies of all time, and it's for the same reasons I watch one Spaced episode every couple of weeks or that I would recommend Hot Fuzz to anyone and go to watch it with them - they are intelligent, hilarious, written with genuine ( Read more... )

I love Mr. Moffat because when he wants to be good, he is amazing (plus, I will always love him for the Weeping Angels and the Empty Child/Doctor Dances). But this episode was creepy!! and I loved it.

I also love Shaun of the Dead, it is the perfect example of a zombie movie, heck, it's the perfect example of a well-written (and acted) comedy.

Spaced... Doctor Who... Black Books... Community... I am nodding in agreement with how awesome your TV watching is!

Hope you get over your cold soon!

Oh gosh, love your paragraph about Pegg and Co. Spot on. I love when there's warmth and substance to movies that on the surface are over-the-top and silly.

I don't know if there is much else I can say regarding my love for Community. IT KNOWS NO BOUNDS. I know what you mean about reviewing episodes; there is virtually nothing I dislike or want to pick apart and if I mentioned everything I liked it would be a recap of the episode.

Doctor Who was really great this week. I've been pretty neutral on River in the past, but I think I liked her in this episode for her awesome read shoes alone. She could tone down the smug and the "sweetie" and the Knowing Things but I really enjoyed her scenes with Amy. CREEPY ANGELS REMAIN CREEPY.

Noooooo no separate blog! Everyone is abandoning LJ for their own blogs. I mean, of course you could cross post but I find it's too much of an effort to interact with people when they have Wordpress or whatever blogs [/lazybones].
