French exam today...

At Alliance Française today, I took the exam forthe end of level B-11. To pass, one needs at least 70% in all questions - oral and written. I got 70% in two levels, 90% in another, and "Excellent! Félicitations!" for the written work. This is a pass, though I had some stupid spelling mistakes, like writing "ferrai" when it should have been " ( Read more... )

Congrats on your exam results! You can mention them in your CV, you know...

Long-term it makes sense to keep studying French, as you say.

Which evenings will you be studying French now?

The classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so we may have to readjust fannish night. How are your Wednesdays?

I;m sort of pleased - but I think I should at least read the rest of the textbook I won't get to study. I'm not sure how it will help me: they are all texts who seriously need teachers, and so don't really explain the grammatical points they are teaching. Mind you, I have other texts around the apartment. Just need to study them!
