Meet Ferbert ...

I was convinced this morning that he was dead, but it turns out he sleeps like a ... well, rock.

My digital camera doesn't want to transfer pictures to my computer, so I took a picture with my phone. It's not the highest quality, but still, a turtle looks like a turtle.

I thought it was unique to have a Maltese as a guard dog, but a guard turtle would certainly grant me an invitation to a talk show of some sort, don't ya think? Perhaps even Oprah ...

No, he doesn't snap. I don't really know what kind of turtle he is. The guy who sold Ferbert to us didn't really talk to us much. He was kinda weird. He also sold tarantulas, salamanders and baby ball python snakes!
