And I really liked Penelope too. I've always loved Christina Ricci, but she was extra adorable in this.

I know! She's just so completely adorable and pretty and god, I wish my room looked like hers. :) And he's just so sweet and hilarious in that scene where she lets him try out different instruments.

It's really one of the loveliest movies I've seen lately.
Come to think of it, I think I downloaded it at least half a year ago and only yesterday evening I finally saw fit to see it. For shame!

I know what you mean, though... but the fact that he isn't that ~handsome~ is what enhances his appeal, for me. He feels more real, and with those beautiful eyes, accent and his incredible depth of talent... I just adore him. ;)
PENELOPE'S CLOTHES WERE AMAZING. Particularly that last outfit at the Halloween party? GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS.

I always had great respect for him as an actor (the variety of roles he's played is just overwhelming) and I've always liked James McAvoy but I wasn't completely swept of my feet like all you other ladies. James had to fight for my love but he clearly got it in the end.
FABULOUS OUTFITS!! The satin bows, the buttons on her coat, omg the shoes!!! And you're right, her Halloween dress is just too pretty!

THE MERLIN CAST IS FULL OF AWESOME. And watching those crazy videos again (plus the episodes on my pretty HD TV instead of my crappy laptop) is what is keeping me from full out Merlin withdrawal. :)
I'm glad to know he won you over. I love him because he's a brilliant actor, and he has such charm that even his stupid character in 'Wanted' won me over.
