Today was an amazingly fun day.
We started off the day with storytime at a new bookstore near us. We met a local author and his family. The books all included a read along cd in which the children perform their characters in the story.

Grant Proposal and Class
I just submitted the last piece for the class I have been taking. I am actually sad to see this class end. It has been such an inspiring experience. I have not really submitted the grant yet because I do not have a principal willing to sign on and give me the 503-C code I need to submit it. Journal Help
Ok so as discussed previously, I am working on a grant proposal. It is all coming along swimmingly except that I need evidence to back up my claims. All the journal articles I find that I think will be helpful are not available at my library.
Does anyone have online access to a good research library? I have a list of journal articles I would ( Read more... ) -
Laundry help
Ok so I have not used a fabric softner since Froggy was born. When I did use it I used a liquid fabric softner and a downey ball type thing that I put in at the beginning of the load and would release the softner during the rinse cycle ( Read more... ) -
Baby Birds
Our nestlings have safely hatched. We watch both parents carrying worms and other creepy crawlies to them. There are at least four maybe as many as six (thats how many eggs there were) babies. The whole nest is surprisingly quiet. I think of baby birds as being very very loud but we do not hear a peep out of these even when they are waiting for ( Read more... ) -
And birds too unfortunately
We have birds in our eaves /chimney. I hear them while I am inside the house and I can see them fly in and out while I am outside the house. I know they are there. What I don't know is how to get rid of them safely. Once they are gone I even know how to keep them out. Any recommendations for getting them out safely and gently? -

Knitting
I want to start up knitting again. I stopped because it was hurting my hands. does anyone have any suggestions for yarn or needles that I can try that would be the gentlest? -
Dresses
I like Froggy in dresses and leggings. It saves me from forever pulling up her pants. It helps keep her belly warm. I could continue listing reasons but I won't. Instead I will complain about my inability to find either the style dress I want at a reasonable price or a pattern to make the dress myself.
