I've done something exciting nearly every day for at least five days now. I may not be employed (more on that later), but I sure am having fun!

Yesterday Matt took me to Jack in the Box for the first time. Boy was that food yummy. We talked for far longer than was strictly necissary. After lunch I saw him off to Seattle (he may be gone for a month). I went to an organ concert and then to the choral Evensong at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral for the William Byrd Festival. Well, I've just dropped Matt off at his Wednesday class. I have a few hours to myself and I'm not really sure what to do. I'm sitting on my bed surveying the wreckage of my room. Therefore, I will post some randomata:

Last night Leianna and I went out to see Kinky Boots at the Cedar Lee. Wow, was that a satisfying movie. It's about a man who inherits his father's failing shoe factory and then turns it around to make sexy boots for drag queens to save the factory. I've recently finished season 3 of Babylon 5. The show suddenly went from mediocre, to adequate, to totally freaking awesome. I started on Farscape with Matt and Veronica Mars with Beth. Television on DVD seems to be my new addiction ( Read more... )

I just discovered that every time the Blues Brothers wreck a police cruiser, somebody yells, "Hey!  They broke my watch!"

I have four copies of my thesis sitting on a bookshelf upstairs. Two more have been handed in to the library to be cataloged and archived. I've given my other two to Ginny and David. This is about as done as I get without walking across that stage wearing a silly costume and being given a piece of paper.
