Sickness has been on the minds of many people that I know this past week, for various reasons with varying severity.  While there is a lot to be said about sickness in general, much of it is a bit darker than I care to go on this particular Tuesday evening.  I did find this Sylvia Plath quote, which I am assuming was lifted from a journal or

I think we buy into a group illusion when we anthropomorphize sickness into something that can conquer or be conquered. And I say this after years of trying to wrap my head around being sick all the time
