The show itself was outstanding--I wasn't aware that there would be more people attending than Gaiman himself, so imagine my delighted surprise when not only did Josh Ritter make an appearance, but Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame were seated in a box, making Waldorf and Statler-esque commentary at Gaiman and Ritter's opinions on which dead celebrity had been which type of monster (apparently Thomas Edison was an elf, who was killed by Ritter's great-granddad. Also, ia ia Emily Dickinson, or should I say, O Great One). On top of this, there were two live phone calls during the show, one from Adam Savage of Mythbusters, and the other from Wil Wheaton, aka Wesley Crusher.
Oh my God this show sounds amazing. BUT THEN IT GETS BETTER.
ffffff kiss on the cheek from Neil Gaiman you lucky dog. You and your friends are all so talented (and hardworking obvs. to get that talented and stay that way). Congrats!
