Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Movies

Watching Batman and Robin, especially after having seen The Dark Knight, shows just how bad that movie really is. In the first fifteen minutes we have an ice hockey match in a museum, numerous nauseating one liners, sky surf boarding and Robin being frozen into a chunk of ice and then being defrosted in an ornamental pool. Robot Chicken had it right - Joel Schumacher is history's greatest monster.

Uwe Boll and a thousand screaming moviegoers would disagree with you there...

One thousand sounds like about the right number of people worldwide who liked this movie. What really disturbs me is the comments on IMDB about it - all these people commenting and saying that they can't understand Schwarzenegger and that he speaks broken English.

But he doesn't. He speaks heavily accented English, but not poor or bad English. I suspect that a) these people haven't had much exposure to other accents or cultures and b) racist attitudes are creeping in. I've never had much trouble understanding Schwarzenegger. It makes me frustrated when people accuse others with accents of poor or bad English when it's just accented.
