Room 330: Tuesday Afternoon
Jack's return trip from Eureka had been fairly uneventful. His no-fly restrictions had been cleared so the only trials he ran into were expensive airport food, a delayed connecting flight and some minor turbulence. Oh, and fellow traveler who felt it was necessary to regale Jack about all the conspiracy theories about Area 51.
All of which were wrong of course except for the fact that they had an excellent bowling team.
Lojack had greeted him at the causeway. Apparently the dog had decided the pet boarding place was no fit place for a dog of his intellect and had spent most of Christmas on the island enjoying his freedom until Jack returned.
And now both were back in the room enjoying the quiet that was the dorms for winter break.
Which quite honestly was what Jack needed after the last week.
