If it helps, with comics what goes around comes around, and things get retconned and forgotten with astonishing speed. (Though some things hang around forever...)

What arcs are you reading? If it's current Avengers and New Avengers just hang in there.... this too will pass.

Thanks. I'm working now on a post-Most Wanted piece. My first ever attempt at real 616 fic, oh Lordy.

I haven't read AvX and by all accounts I don't want to. From what I hear the OOC-ness is particularly atrocious.

I haven't read actual comics for a long while but, if I were going to start again, what I'd probably end up doing is going back and reading completely finished arcs and graphic novels.

And space them out with regular fanfic and reading so I didn't get so down and confused and all that /huggs /comfort /support.

The ones I've been reading are from the mid to late 2000s and are complete. I can't even imagine trying to read them as a serial...I would have died 12 times over!
