The entire Bon Jovi scene, I think I read it three times. SO many great lines from Damon, like bee-eff-fucking-eff and Stefan being absolutely Stefan. I could picture it clearly and feel the tension and longing for each other. SO FREAKING EXCELLENT. Damon forcing Stefan to lose control and then walking away. (The headlines scream: Entire Californian apartment block brutally massacred; the work of a monster.) Ending that part like that was so damn cool. Neat. I'm old, whatever, it rocked.

Shivers. This imagery is lovely. I love it when blood is referred to as "thick" ... Idk why - something about the visceral description of texture (of this thing we take for granted, but is the building block of SO many stories/worlds) always delights me.

This was such a PERFECT ending to the Bon Jovi fiasco that it all was.

And the fic itself is very Damon like even the structure echoing his thinking. So I enjoyed this and the Lexi sex ...I think it is my headcanon now.
