I got bit on the ass by the universe today.

Today was another recruitment day at work, and I was on "early duty."  This means I try to get to my office around 6:45 am for 15 quality minutes of emailing, and then make the 10 minute walk over to where our applicants gather for breakfast.  Five of us trade off this duty (with two working each day), so

oh man oh man, I so hate waking up late, swearing I'd set the alarm to find that the power went out or the radio station I set it to went off air randomly or something. *shudders*
