Thanks for another great collection! Maybe I was caught in a sentimental mood but the afterword did leave me slightly misty-eyed, I'll admit.
It also reminded me how I always wanted more "NW Collective", as that was closer to my own experiences. But looking at it all together, I realize now that this single story draws enough parallels to clearly tie its DNA into the same central, simply awful fandom subspecies.
Usually things die when they become increasingly irrelevant, making it intensely ironic that Eltingville (to paraphrase your own words) has actually become too relevant to live. As you said, R.I.P.
