you just condensed the whole reason i fell in love with this world while i was writing it! (love that his first kiss, hell, his first anything is with someone who could be Cas as a teenager -- i love that you noticed this, it slipped right past my betas) i feel for cas, that dean's happy ending had to exclude him -- especially so since i really think he was the one who anchored dean to the right choices in the first place.

You know this, because I told you before while I was reading it, but this is the kind of story that makes me incredibly jealous that I didn't think of it first, that I wasn't the one who got to write it, because the idea of it is so powerful, and the execution is just breathtaking.

You're an amazing writer. Hands down.

yes! the gobi desert scene was the first scene i wrote, the basis for dean and cas' relationship in this story. i'm so happy that worked for you, it's one of my favorites too. thank you so much for coming and reading, and for such a wonderful comment! :D

Oh wow, DEAN. WINCHESTERS. Everybody. I love how there's this whole world where things are okay, but for Dean the world that was before is under it all like a double-exposure. Dean getting the Impala and going on the road trip was just perfect.

God, this was amazing. I wish I could leave better feedback than this, but man, this was a goddamn balm on the soul. I want to c/p everything right back at you, but you deserve far more cohesive praise than this. I'm just. Seriously in love with the way you've roped in and shaded canon in this (Sammy and ghost stories, the star watching on the roof, Bobby the town drunk, Mom, beautiful and remote through no fault of her own, John's beard ffs), just, awesome all around.
